The Pharisees brought a woman who had sinned before Christ and trying to trap the Savior asked, "Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou?"
Jesus turned to the gathering crowd and said, "He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her." Burdened under the weight of their own guilt the crowd left, leaving Christ and the woman alone.
