My entries for this piece began a year ago, May 1, 2007. However, this piece I’ve worked on today is a new piece, same title, same design, just new. About three months ago the gallery took the unfinished piece to a home show in Salt Lake. It was a treacherous night of bad weather and the canvas got caught up in a wind gust and upon landing, the corner of another painting went through the canvas, completely destroying it.

I started over and today I finished the under painting and within a few days I will start the color. I wanted to have this piece going while I was doing the “Last Supper” so that I could have a peaceful piece to work on if the “Last Supper” was a little too draining.
